Terms of Service

Plain English summary

Book a clean, leave your bins out and empty, pay after we're done. No deposits, no GST, no cancellation fees. We'll always confirm any extra charges with you on-site before adding them to your invoice.

1. Our services

FreshBin Co. provides residential bin cleaning services in Coquitlam and the surrounding Tri-Cities area (Port Moody, Port Coquitlam) and select Metro Vancouver communities. Services include pressure washing, sanitizing, and deodorizing of household waste and recycling bins.

2. Booking

Services are booked through our online booking system at freshbinco.com/appointments. By completing a booking, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • Your bins will be accessible and empty at the scheduled time
  • The service address is accurate
  • You are authorized to request service at that property

3. Pricing

All prices are in Canadian dollars. FreshBin Co. is a small supplier and is not registered for GST/HST. No tax is added to your invoice.

Includes 2 medium rollout bins + 2 recycling bins. Applies only to addresses within the active route day zone. If your address falls outside the zone, we'll contact you with the standard rate option before your appointment.
Monthly recurring plan
Per-bin monthly rate: Sm $15 · Med $20 · Lg $30 · Recycling $5 per visit. A complimentary small recycling bin clean is included on every visit. Subject to a separate Recurring Service Agreement.
Bi-monthly recurring plan
Discounted recurring rate — contact us for exact pricing. A complimentary small recycling bin clean is included on every visit. Subject to a separate Recurring Service Agreement.
Heavy buildup fee — +$15 per bin
Applies when a bin contains significant residue or buildup beyond a standard clean. Always confirmed with you on-site before proceeding — never added without your approval.

4. Payment

Payment is due after the service is completed. We accept credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe, Interac e-Transfer to payment@freshbinco.com, and cash on-site. An invoice will be emailed to you within 24 hours of every completed service. No GST is charged.

For recurring plan clients, payment is processed automatically after each visit — see your Recurring Service Agreement for details.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Use the reschedule link in your confirmation email, or contact us at info@freshbinco.com. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may not be rescheduled to the same day or week, depending on availability.

6. Service access requirements

Your bins must be empty (no bags or loose waste inside), accessible from the street or an agreed location, and present at your property at the scheduled time.

If we arrive and cannot access the bins — locked gate, bins not out, wrong address — we will contact you the same day to reschedule at no charge. This courtesy applies once per customer. If access issues occur a second time, we reserve the right to invoice at 50% of the service rate to cover travel and time, and future bookings may require a confirmed access arrangement.

7. Heavy buildup

If bins contain significant buildup requiring additional time or effort beyond a standard clean, the $15 per bin heavy buildup fee applies. We confirm this with you before proceeding. You may decline — in which case we complete a standard clean to the best of our ability at the original rate.

8. Out-of-area transit fee

Customers outside our core Tri-Cities service area may be subject to a transit fee. If applicable, this will be communicated to you before your booking is confirmed. You may cancel without charge if you do not wish to proceed.

9. Right to refuse service

FreshBin Co. reserves the right to decline or discontinue service at our discretion, including situations where bins contain hazardous or biohazardous materials, access is repeatedly unavailable at scheduled times, or payment for previous services remains outstanding.

10. Warranties and disclaimer

FreshBin Co. will perform services with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee specific results — such as complete odour elimination in heavily contaminated bins — where outcomes depend on factors outside our control.

11. Limitation of liability

FreshBin Co. is not liable for pre-existing damage to bins, lids, wheels, or property; damage resulting from bins in poor structural condition prior to cleaning; or indirect, incidental, or consequential losses of any kind. Our maximum liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

12. Disputes

If you have a concern about a service or invoice, please contact us first at info@freshbinco.com. We commit to responding within 3 business days and working with you to resolve the issue. Most concerns are resolved quickly with a direct conversation.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at freshbinco.com. For material changes, we will notify recurring clients by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at freshbinco.com/privacy-policy.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
